From the beginning of my career, I have been the point of contact between colleagues and potential clients, directly or indirectly. If you trust me, you will be supported along all the stages of the project, from recruitment to quality assurance and to the very end.

How I do things
For this, I need to know:
- The length of the content
- How many people you will need
- How many languages
- Contact details for each person
- Rate and workload for each
- Tool to use (typically, Trados or SmartCat)
I recommend having the project instructions ready in a shareable format.
The next stage is to share the translatable content with each person and establish deadlines.
If there is any Translation Memory (TM) or guideline available, this is the stage where it will be done.
Once the translation is ready, it is recommended to have a second linguist review it to ensure quality and that the guidelines have been followed.
The project has now been completed, and the linguists can then send their invoices.
These are typically paid within 30 days upon completion.
